Royal Prince II is an exceptional yearling gelding who is an incredible mover. Super knee and hock action combined with incredible swing, elasticity and suspension, has given him the reputation of a 'movement machine'. Royal Prince II is the youngest of 3 full siblings. He has an older full sister who is very similar in type and movement and now lives in NSW. The full brother, Royal Prince has delighted his new owner since buying him at our 2010 Auction, and recently won Reserve Junior Champion at his first outing (AWHA Gala Day).

Their dam is Cheree, a tall elegant mare with super conformation, who is by Contango II out of a thoroughbred mare. She has been an exceptional broodmare, continually producing very high quality foals. This year she has produced her first foal by Fürst Love, who is also a stand out, and is offered in this year's auction.

The Royal Hit / Contango II cross has become well known for producing the complete package in terms of the desired requirements for competition horses and Royal Prince II is no exception. He displays enormous potential for a brilliant competition career and, with the right partner, success at the highest levels is very likely.

Once again the conformation traits of Royal Hit are clearly stamped on Royal Prince II - pretty head, great shape to the neck and nice angled shoulders, smooth lines, strong hindquarter, long legs and strong well shaped hooves. Royal Prince II is a tall elegant horse but at the same time shows strength in his build. Exactly what is required of horses at the higher levels of dressage.

As already mentioned, his movement is incredible. He has a good, relaxed, ground covering walk. His trot is naturally full of suspension, swing and elasticity. He makes good use of his knees and hocks in the trot and equally so in the canter, which is uphill, forward and balanced. Royal Prince II is full of physical qualities and he has temperament qualities to match. He is a friendly, trusting horse with a very sweet, trainable nature.

It is hoped that Royal Prince II's new owner will be a dedicated rider who will further develop and allow this youngster to express his super talent through the art of dressage. In the right hands this horse will be a Super Star.
