Sandro Hit has started a new era in the dressage scene and is already writing sporting and breeding history. National Young Horse Champion Young Dressage World Champion — unique producer performance.

Sandro Hit progeny are breaking all price-records, are annually winning championships and are Approval Champions.

His success in breeding is no coincidence. His sire Sandro Song was Oldenburger Champion Young Stallion and Main Premium Champion. His dam, elite mare "Loretta" is as a dominant producer virtually unbeatable. She produced the Reserve World Champion and Reserve German Young Horse Champion Diamond Hit and the highly elegant 1c premium stallion Royal Hit. Her sire Ramino was Stallion Performance Test Champion and later on five times Italian Champion. Welt As from the third generation is one of the most influential producers over the last years, amongst others he sired Olympic gold medallist Bonfire ridden by Anky van Grunsven. Sandro Hit, a strikingly beautiful black horse, brilliant type with quality movement, has a sheer black gene. The supporters of Hanoverian stud found him particularly interesting and once again he brought the highest price at every single foal auction in Verden.

Modernity at it's Optimum

In 1999 he became six year old Dressage Horse World Champion and winner at the German Federal Championships in Warendorf. "Best Young Stallion 2000" is just one of the titles he has won. As many as ten licensed sons have issued from his first foaling year and his daughter, two-time Young Horse World Champion and Young Horse National Champion, Poetin, sold for a record price of 2.5 million Euros. Sandro Hit has sired top-priced horses and top-priced foals at virtually all auctions around Europe. For years Sandro Hit has been producing national champions, silver and bronze medalists and many finalists in the world's most prestigious dressage events. Sandro Hit has the highest sire index of 153 in Germany, with 88% predictability in his descendant's performance.

A new era was ushered in in dressage horse breeding with the application of Sandro Hit in breeding. He has proven to be a phenomenal sire of type with a definite upgrading effect. Sandro Hit has to date, presented well over 100 approved sons, including the champion stallions Sandrit (Mecklenburg-Western- Pomerania 1999), Sir Wilson (ZfdP 2002), Stedinger (Oldenburg 2002) and Samba Hit II (Brandenburg 2004). Sommerhit was runner-up in Berlin-Brandenburg and Sandro Ace became vice-champion in Oldenburg.

Sir Donnerhall was second vice-champion in Oldenburg in 2003 and Sir Savoy, second vice-champion in Hanover in 2004. His Brandenburg bred daughter Poetin I won the Federal Championship of three-year-old mares and geldings in 2000, became federal vice-champion four-year-old in 2001 and won the World Championship of six-year-old dressage horses, as well as the Federal Championship in 2003, before going into Dutch ownership for the record sum of Euro 2.5 million via the PSI auction. Poetin I's approved full brother Samba Hit I became vice-champion three-year-old stallion in 2004, second only to Show Star. In 2002, Show Star won silver in the four-year-old championship and had placements in the dressage horse finals the following two years. Samba Hit I won the bronze medal in the six-year-old dressage horse championship of 2004 whilst the approved FS Sandro Classic secured himself the winner's title of the three year-old stallions in 2004 and Saigon won silver in the championship of three-year-old mares and geldings. Sandro Hit offspring are also enjoying successes abroad, like the approved Sandreo, who won the equivalent of the Federal Championship, the Pavo Cup, in the Netherlands in 2004 and moreover, the KWPN Stallion Championship of 2004/2005. The Sandro Hit son Valeron became dressage vice-champion of the 2005 KWPN approval in Hertogenbosch and was sold for the top price of Euro160,000 via the KWPN Select Sale. Numerous Sandro Hit progeny have been sold for peak prices at the different auction sites. Super Star was for instance, sold to Austria for the sum of Euro 252,000 via the Vechta Elite Auction, and the foal Solveigs Lied went to France for Euro 45,000. The approved Saltimbanco on the other hand, fetched the price of Euro 160,000 in Münster-Handorf. Sandro Hit's daughters are also highly successful at shows. Poetin I was vice-champion at the Federal Mare Show in Neustadt/Dosse in 2002 and Wertvolle became Oldenburg vice-champion mare in 2004. A total of five Sandro Hit mares paraded on the Diamond Ring in Rastede and five of his highly esteemed foals reached the two final heats of the German Foal Championship in 2004.

Sandro Hit is a top sire who produces absolutely first rate offspring. He has stamped his qualities on a whole era of modern horses, producing beautiful progeny with dynamic cadence. His sons and grandsons pass on his excellent genes and their offspring include many top competition and breeding horses. One of the most outstanding examples is Sir Donnerhall, who also tops the FN breeding stallion rating. Sandro Hit’s son San Amour won the main premium title by a wide margin, his full sister, Victoria, won the Oldenburg Regional Championship, and the full sister to Poetin took the reserve champion mare title for competition horses. Sandro Hit is a groundbreaking stallion who is influencing dressage horse breeding the whole world over. Sandro Hit foals and horses are regularly sold at auction for prices in excess of EUR 100,000. Three year old St. Emilion was sold at the P.S.I. Auction in 2008 for EUR 550,000. Sandro Hit is a regular record breaker and the list of his successful offspring is endless. His son Soliére won the 2008 Hanoverian Championship and 10 of Sandro Hit’s progeny have followed this striking black World Champion and Bundeschampion’s footsteps by winning the Bundeschampionat. His offspring are competing in advanced level dressage and Salieri OLD has won several international Grand Prix with his rider, Victoria Max-Theurer.
