Aside from being beautifully bred performance horses, the Bloomfield horses are very well handled from an early age which means that they are a pleasure to work with from the beginning. AEBC has started many Bloomfield youngsters under-saddle and we have loved every single one of them! We simply love the way Axel & Kerrie raise their horses and they are very professional and kind to deal with in every way. 'Blacksilver Jack' is an Arabian Warmblood gelding born 2017. Our first Warmblood derivative. Sired by Fürst Love, from a purebred Arabian mare, he is an outstanding individual. Already a Supreme Champion in breed classes, he continues to shine in athletic ability and temperament. We look forward to working with Bloomfield Farm again in the near future, utilising their 'boys'. Their professionalism and service made the process a breeze.

5 years ago we decided that if we were going to enjoy success in Dressage, we needed to buy a quality horse. Soon after Bloomfield announced an online sale and Linda took me along to inspect their beautiful horses. The quality of the horses and the beautiful behaviour (because of breeding and quality handling) made it difficult to choose our future star. Bloomfield Forrest Gump was the one that ticked all our boxes! Beautiful temperament, 3 beautiful paces and a presence that made him impossible not to notice. We have had so much fun and success with Forrest and have met many new friends through him, as he attracts lots of admirers. We have also enjoyed wonderful support from Axel and Kerrie who are an absolute pleasure to deal with. I am not sure how much longer I will be riding but if I do need another horse, it will be another Bloomfield Farm horse!

I am so lucky to have two beautiful Bloomfield horses. Furstin Tiamo, (purchased as a foal) is a joy to ride with her beautiful, dancing paces but more than that she is so gentle and friendly I really look forward to spending time with her each day. Valentinus, Versace/Royal Hit, who I purchased impulsively as a yearling, is just amazing. I sent him to the AEBC for four weeks of foundation training with Alistar McLean last year and have had him out in the paddock for the past eight months to grow. Alistar got on him on Saturday and in a short time was cantering him around the arena. I thought it looked pretty straight forward so I saddled him up the next day and had a great ride. He has certainly lived up to everything Axel said about him. So trainable and such an easy temperament to work with. He takes very few repetitions to learn new things and is always very co-operative and responsive as well as having a lovely uphill way of going and loose swinging paces. I am really excited about continuing with him. Thankyou Kerrie and Axel for breeding such great horses.

In 2016 on a trip to Melbourne we decided to visit the beautiful Bloomfield Farm for their open day. After an afternoon spent viewing the beautiful youngstock and stallions, we purchased an 11 month old colt ‘Bloomfield Valence’ (Versace x Sir Donnerhall). A month later we went to visit Smartie and while admiring the paddocks full of beautiful foals, we saw a 4 week old Versace x Royal Hit colt and before we knew it we had a second beautiful Bloomfield baby to our names! Bloomfield Valence (Smartie) and Bloomfield Versailles (Charlie), are both great representatives of the Versace offspring, as I am fortunate to own two very intelligent and inquisitive, yet sensitive and respectful young horses. Everyone who has been involved in their handling, from transporters, to vets and farriers have complimented them on how sensible and well-mannered they are and I think this is a reflection of the important early stage handling done by Axel and Kerrie. Smartie was started under saddle this year and is just coming back in from a spell and I cannot wait to embark on this next phase with him. I cannot recommend Bloomfield Farm more highly to anyone searching for their next equine partner.

I bought Bloomfield Finesse from Bloomfield Farm as a yearling. She is so smart, trainable and gorgeous. She loves attention and gets lots of it wherever I take her. We do mostly dressage, but she also loves trail riding and going to the beach.

Bloomfield Valhalla (Versace) is my very first Young horse but won’t be the last!! The passion and love for breeding top quality horses from Axel and Kerrie is by far the best I’ve seen and clearly shows in the number of top horses they produce out of Bloomfield Farm. As I said Val is my first young horse and when looking I thought that I would have to compromise movement for temperament however Kerrie and Axel have found the perfect balance! I have an extremely sensible 3yo who at the age of 2 was already self loading and has proven to be even easier under saddle! Val’s trainability goes above and beyond with 3 beautiful paces and presence to match. I could not recommend Kerrie and Axel enough. From my first phone call with Axel to how he has always been very interested in how Val is progressing which is a true testament to Bloomfield Farm and their horses.

So thrilled with my new baby girl Vouettê embarking on her journey. Such a beautiful and gentle natured filly. Once again a testament to all horses that are bred at Bloomfield Farm. Thank you so much again Axel and Kerrie. You guys only breed the best.

I would highly recommend Bloomfield Farm to purchase a foal through. Last year I purchased two colt foals and both foals were cared for like their own until weaning time was due and they were able to leave to come to their new home. Prior to this they received extensive handling and when they arrived were a delight to work with, being easy to catch, pick up legs and tie up with no dramas. They had a trust of humans that is so valuable to install at a young age, something that is difficult to do when you are a purchaser not the breeder. We are very happy with how both foals are developing and would buy more from Axel and Kerrie with full confidence.

Sugarloaf FeFe (who is by Fürst Love) was purchased through Lyn, Malcom and Hayley Gilbert in December 2015. From the very first ride to now our bond has been instant and we continue to grow stronger and stronger. FeFe’s temperament is like no other, she has the most beautiful character and everyone who meets her falls in love with her straight away! FeFe is a super fun horse to ride she enjoys jumping and hacking out to break up her dressage training. Her paces are naturally balanced and makes everything look easy and soft. FeFe is currently competing successfully in Elementary with scores over 70%. If we could have 10 Furst Love’s in our stables’ we absolutely would! We are so excited to continue the journey and can’t thank Kerrie & Axel enough for the support they have shown with myself and Sugarloaf FeFe!

Just wanted to say how amazing my Versace mare, Bloomfield Marigold is. She is so relaxed, balanced and willing and already making a big fan club. I have had her back with me for 2.5 weeks now (after being broken and a spell) I ride her in the mornings at an indoor with no other horses around. We have had tractors harrowing arenas next to us, show jumpers riding around us and she’s as cool as a cucumber. Not to mention her putting up with a very green rider coming from riding a pony the past 10 years. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much.
